Fun fact: that quote - about the definition of insanity being doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results - is often wrongly attributed to Einstein 😁

Very nice read 🙏🏼

Being in the driver's seat is an analogy I heard many years ago when I was learning meditation. Intention is when we learn to direct our minds to things that matter. Love your article and this sharing Tiffany.

Great entry Tiffany, I remember last year when I wanted to lose some weight and get fit, it was literally setting the intention to exercise and not eat crap that did it for me. As soon as I saw myself as the person who didn't eat the cake and drink the sugary drinks, I no longer did, I had no trouble turning down a piece of the birthday cake that a colleague brought in. I didn't even eat any of MY OWN birthday cake last year! It took nothing greater than just deciding that's who I was now.

Yes, it didn't last forever, but I lost over 45lb and I am much fitter as a result! And it can work for anything. Intention is a superpower!

That's some serious self-restraint! I would have totally eaten my own birthday cake. I'm glad you liked this entry!
